Update - 3/18/2010
An comprehensive guide to all of the District's websites has been published. Click to view or download it.
Website Help
In this section, you can find tips for using the communication features contained on our website. To gain access to most of these features, you need to Sign In as a registered user (registration is available only to parents, students and Kentfield School District staff only; if you have recorded your email address with the District, you should have been pre-registered for this site).
Signing in also gives you access to information that is not visible to unregistered guests.
Basic Navigation
There are three main websites, one for District-wide information, one for each of the two schools in the District. You can switch between the sites by using the Select a School... menu to go to one of the schools, or by clicking the District icon to go to the District site.
Within each site are a series of channels arranged in tabs in a horizontal menu bar.
District Site
The About Us channel contains general information for the public. The Board of Trustees channel has information about Board meetings, Board members and the Strategic Plan. The Administration channel on the District site is where to go for contact information for the District Office. The Get Involved channel is where the PTA and other district-wide parent groups post their information. The Community channel is for posting offerings from other organizations.
School Sites
The Academics channel at each of the school sites is where to find teacher pages and information about the curriculum. The For Parents channel contains school handbooks, the Falcon Facts and Bacich Bulletin, policy information, etc. As mentioned above, some content, such as the Falcon Facts and Bacich Bulletin, are password-protected, so they will not be visible unless you sign in. The Calendar on each school site is actively maintained by school office staff--so check it to see when events are coming up.
