TechnologyThe Kentfield School District is committed to educating our students with 21st century skills. Teachers and technology staff work together to produce project-based lessons that focus on a student's critical thinking skills and individual expression. A 12-member Technology Use Group composed of teachers, administrators and tech support staff is responsible for technology planning; the "TUG" assesses the use of technology in the District on an annual basis and reports to the Board of Trustees. Technology PlanningIn 2007, the Technology Use Group revised the District's comprehensive Technology Use Plan that provides a road map for the integration of technology in our curriculum. District staff and the Board of Trustees are currently reviewing this plan. For more information and a link to download a copy of the technology plan, please visit the Technology Use Plan page. CybersafetyPlease visit our new Cybersafety page to find resources concerning cybersafety. Website Publishing Guidelines and Rules for Computer UseThe District has issued guidelines to staff that seek to maintain the privacy of our community members. As part of the yearly registration process, parents can allow publication concerning their family that is restricted according to these guidelines, or they may refuse any publication. Please visit the Technology Guidelines page for more information and to download a copy of the guidelines. The rules for using computers and other technology items in our District can also be found on this page. Technology FAQsSome quick facts about the technology program in the District:
