New Email Service Begins June 16, 2008

If you haven't picked up your updated laptop yet, you can retrieve your email from our new Google Apps and Email homepage at http://g.kentfieldschools.org

The tech staff will be posting new information on the home page as it becomes available. Please note that the summer time is a time of change for our servers. Things like mailing lists, access to student and teacher files and PowerSchool may be offline or unavailable on any given day as we migrate to new versions and perform our year-to-year makeovers. Call Peter or Julian if you have any questions.

Submit Tech Support Requests

• MyTechDesk New User - By using the Kentfield group password (ask Julian or Peter Z. for this), you may create a new help desk account and submit a request if you don't have a username. Please use your kentfieldschools.org email address.
• MyTechDesk Returning User - Submit a tech support request if you already know your username and password. Use "kentfield" for the group name.

Technology Staff Development Workshops

MCOE Workshops for 2007-08

The Marin County Office of Education is pleased to announce a series of technology training workshops available to all Marin County School Staff. The workshops were developed in response to a county wide technology training needs survey published last spring. Based upon the results of the survey classes have been scheduled covering topics ranging from Microsoft Excel and Access to Adobe Acrobat and Digital Photography.

If you are interested in seeing the complete schedule of technology training classes or registering for any of the workshops, point your browser to http://signup.marinschools.org/technology and click on County Wide Classes.

The Marin County Office of Education invites you to register for the Technology Training Workshops and other classes using GoSignMeUp, our new web based online registration system. GoSignMeUp makes it easy for teachers, staff, and the community to register for training, events, and professional development. Those wishing to sign up for classes have the convenience of 24 hour, seven day a week registration with reliable confirmations, reminders and follow-up communications. GoSignMeUp is also a time saver by making it easy for staff to take attendance, process workshop evaluations and print class rosters, name tags, and sign in sheets. You may sign up for workshops at http://signup.marinschools.org . We would appreciate any feedback you have after using the system.
