The Kentfield School District is governed by a five-member, elected Board of Trustees. Trustees serve for four-year terms. The Board holds public meetings once a month and welcomes public comment and involvement.

Board of Trustees Vacancy

The KSD Board of Trustees will follow the process of provisionally appointing our next KSD Board of Trustee no later than December 14, 2023. Please see timeline below for the provisional appointment process:

Monday, Nov. 27 at 9 a.m. – Informational Meeting “Becoming a Trustee” presentation and recording.

Nov. 15 to Nov. 29, 2023, 5 p.m. – Trustee Application Window. HERE is the Trustee application. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29.

Friday, December 1- A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees will be held in-person to interview and appoint one of the Trustee candidates. This Board Meeting will begin at 12:00 p.m.
