Our District offers students, parents, teachers, other staff, and members of our local community many opportunities to participate and support Kentfield students through on-campus volunteers, advisory committees, PTA, and KIK – Kentfield Invests in Kids.

School Volunteer Information and Registration

Every day parents, grandparents, and community members generously give their time to help support Kentfield schools. Volunteers play an invaluable role in our students' education and development. If you are interested in helping out on a regular basis on campus in a classroom or student club or to drive on a field trip please visit our Volunteer Registration Portal to register and get more information.

District Advisory Committees:

Are you interested in learning more about the KSD Operations? If so, please join one or more of our KSD Board Committees. Committees typically meet four times a year and offer advice on issues ranging from communications, equity and inclusion, safety, finance, and technology. To join or get more information email

School Site Council

Bacich Elementary School and Kent Middle School each have a Site Council team of elected parents, teachers, and students who meet monthly with the school principal. Their purpose is to advise and share in decision making of the school community with a primary focus on communication and student and school safety. Site Council meetings are open to all interested parents. Attending Site Council is a great way to learn more about what happens at your child's school and to be involved in the planning process.

Kent Athletic Coaches

Kent Middle School's after-school athletic programs depend on the commitment of volunteer coaches. If you are interested in coaching an after-school team, please contact Kent Athletic Director: Ryan Palmer,, and complete this volunteer packet (available soon).

Student Clubs & Activities at Bacich Elementary School and Kent Middle School


KSPTA is the Parent Teacher Association for Bacich Elementary School and Kent Middle School. The chapter is part of the national PTA organization. 100% of the funds raised by the Kentfield Schools PTA fund Kentfield School District programs, activities for students and families, and KSPTA Parent Education.

kik Foundation

kik (kentfield invests in kids), is the fundraising arm of the Kentfield Schools Foundation. The Foundation was created to supplement the District’s budget to ensure our kids receive the best possible education regardless of how our schools are funded.
