Dear Bacich Families,

The Bacich classroom doors are beautifully decorated today with appreciation for our staff! Staff Appreciation Week is that special time for students and parents to show their love and respect for the Bacich school community. Thank you so much for the time and effort it took to make our staff feel so welcomed and cared for this morning. Take a look at these amazing labors of love!

If you missed our last Principal Chat on Math Games and Supports, you are in luck! Here is the slide deck with all of the resources linked. Please check out the various fun games and activities that you can do with your child to support their growth and love for math.

Our first ever live Talent Show was a huge success! Many thanks to Becky Poon and Amy and Noah Wheeler for their dedication and organization, as well as to all of the parents who supported their third or fourth grader in practicing for the show. What a wonderful showcase it was of Bacich student talent! You can watch the video of this great event on the Bacich Talent Show website.

This Wednesday is our last day of the four day Walk and Roll to School J.E.D.I Challenge! Students need to bring their J.E.D.I card with them as they walk or roll to school to receive their final stamp. The cards will be raffled off for great prizes including a soccer ball, a scooter and cool books! If you missed one of the Wednesdays, you can still get a special gift for walking and rolling to school this Wednesday. May the "Fourth" be With You!

Take care!

Bacich Walk and Roll to School Days: April 13, 20, 27 and "May the 4th"

Walk and Roll Jedi Challenge

Bacich is holding a four-week Walk and Roll to school event that started April 13. Students are working to be full J.E.D.I.s (Joyful, Excited, Devoted, Imaginative) as they celebrate saving the earth by walking or rolling to school. When students walk or roll to school the event days there will be a table at the Sir Francis Drake gate with volunteers passing out their J.E.D.I. cards. They will need to get their card stamped four times. If they have four stamps on their J.E.D.I. card, they can turn it in to enter a raffle for a soccer ball or a scooter! Parents, if you would like to volunteer from 7:45-8:15 a.m. on any of the next four Wednesdays to help out with stamping, please email Kristine Duran at kduran@kentfieldschools.org.

Kent Tutors Marin: Free virtual tutoring to K–6th graders in all subjects during school, after school, and on weekends. Spanish-speaking tutors are available. Sessions are 30-45 minutes via Zoom.
